Photoshoot: Christina Hendricks for Capitol File Magazine

What do you get when you take Christina Hendricks and style her in some TO. DIE. FOR. Oscar de la Renta, D&G, Holly Fulton and Errickson Beamon?

Perfection.

I want every single item she is wearing.

On a side note - I know there has been talk about Christina's London Fog campaign and whether or not she was photoshopped in some of the images.  If you compare these two side by side, it certainly looks like her waist and hips were slimmed down for the official ad image:

I would also argue that she has been slimmed down in the photo below, especially when compared to the killer curves she's modeling in the GQ UK photo:

What do you think?  Photoshop or no? And if so - why do companies so often insist on minimizing curves, especially in a case like this when the woman in question is celebrated for them?

Photoshoot: Christina Hendricks for British GQ

Photobucket

I shared a couple of these images the other day, but here is the full September 2010 British GQ spread.

Some of these shots leave me absolutely speechless.  Like this one....

and this one...

oh, this one to...

This is my least favorite, although I love the lace.  And the hair.  And the shoes.  And Christina.

Speechless again..

Hendricks, Hendricks, and more Hendricks

I feel like I am doing a weekly feature on Christina Hendricks.  Maybe it's because I am now completely obsessed with the genius that is Mad Men.  I watched the first 3 seasons in less than 3 weeks.  I caught up with Season 4 this evening. Am I crazy?  Maybe. But...

It. Is. THAT. Good.

While running some errands at my local Target this evening I came across the July/August 2010 Health Magazine.  Christina Hendricks graces the cover.  I had read excerpts from the interview online before, but it I enjoyed sitting down and reading the whole thing.  If you haven't checked it out yourself, click here for the online version. Photos below (please forgive me for the not so great scan quality!)

I also came across these photos from the September issue of British GQ. Christina is the cover model here as well.

This is another interesting interview.  Click here for the online version.

Finally... this is probably old news to most of you, but I hadn't seen it.  Enjoy!

On a side note: Is it bad that - until this evening - I didn't realize that Christina had played Saffron on Firefly?
