Photoshoot: Liu Wen for Numéro China

Sometimes a great fashion photoshoot is more about the model than it is about the clothes.  The beautiful Liu Wen landed the cover spread in the September 2010 premiere issue of Numéro China.

Although all of the images are striking, I particularly love the black and white photos.  Some people might find them boring or plain, but I think they are absolutely fantastic and allow her true beauty to shine through.  This woman is an absolute stunner.

Combine that beauty with some fierce couture, and you get an unforgetable premiere issue:

Photoshoot: Mad Men for Rolling Stone Magazine

I tried.  Really I did.

Most of you have probably seen these photographs already, but I just love them so much... I had to post them here.

Here is a look behind the scenes of Mad Men, brought to you by Rolling Stone Magazine.

First, I am going to single out one photograph.  This is my absolute favorite.  The actors who portray Cosgrove and Crane, decked out in full 1960s regalia, checking out a macbook.  The look on Crane's face - priceless!

And now, the rest:

On a side note - I know there has been talk about Christina's London Fog campaign and whether or not she was photoshopped in some of the images.  If you compare these two side by side, it certainly looks like her waist and hips were slimmed down for the official ad image:

I would also argue that she has been slimmed down in the photo below, especially when compared to the killer curves she's modeling in the GQ UK photo:

What do you think?  Photoshop or no? And if so - why do companies so often insist on minimizing curves, especially in a case like this when the woman in question is celebrated for them?

Photoshoot: Miranda Kerr for Vogue Spain, September 2010

I seem to be loving the non-U.S. September issues better than the U.S.  Spanish Vogue comes through with this gorgeous photo spread of Miranda Kerr.  Check out all the accessories...
